Graduate Students

Keynesh joined the Ping Group in January 2025. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a B.Sc. in Physics, having worked on high performance multidimensional polynomial handling through expression templates for the Boltzmann equation. He is now working on his Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at UW-Madison.

Erik joined the Ping Group on October 1, 2023. He graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru with a B.S. and M.Sc. in Physics and is now working on his Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at UW-Madison.

Jake joined the Ping Group in January, 2026. He graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy, then completed a M.S. in Physics -- Quantum Computing, and is now working on his Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at UW-Madison.

Shihao joined the Ping Group in 2024. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a M.Sc. in Physics in 2024 and is now working on his Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at UW-Madison.

Huaiyu joined the Ping Group on August, 2026. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a B.S. in Chemistry and is now working on his Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at UW-Madison.

Doron joined the Ping Group in 2024. He graduated from National Taiwan Normal University with a M.Sc in Chemistry in 2024 and is now working on his Ph.D in Chemistry at UW-Madison.
